Our role is to provide a tool for searching and communicating in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.

The platform provides tools for self-searching: questionnaires with detailed information; convenient filters; chat for direct communication. We do not interfere in the agreements between the parties, but we provide a mechanism for searching.

What is the difference between your portal and an agency?

Agencies perform intermediary functions: they match couples, conclude contracts, and coordinate procedures. The platform only provides a technical space for independent search and communication, without participating in legal relations between users.

Can I use the site if I live in another country?

Yes, the platform is available to users from Ukraine and other countries. The main condition is compliance with the legislation of the country in which you are located and honest implementation of agreements between the parties.

Everyone confirms their email address. Donors and surrogates complete their profile and choose who can see it. The Ovomama team separately approves agencies.

Does my personal data remain confidential?

Yes, users' personal data is processed in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection". We do not transfer information to third parties without existing legal grounds or your consent. Temporary access to certain information may be granted to legal or technical specialists who ensure the operation of the system. Such access is strictly limited, and the data is used only for technical or legal support. The user himself chooses which part of the information to make visible to others.

What should I do if I feel someone is acting suspiciously?

If you are an intended parent, donor, or surrogate and notice suspicious behavior, you can complain about or block the user from their profile or chat menu. If you need help, contact support through the form on the website.

Can I hide some of the information on my profile until I find the right person?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You choose how unregistered visitors see your profile: open, partially hidden (without name and photo), or hidden. Registered users can always see your full profile.

How do I delete my profile?

You can delete your profile at any time by clicking the "Delete Profile" button in the settings.

Why hasn't my profile appeared in the search results yet?

The profile is not published if: all required fields are not filled in (such profiles are considered inactive); a donor or surrogate has not yet saved privacy settings; an agency has not yet been approved by an administrator. After eliminating the discrepancies, the profile will automatically appear in the search.

Does appearing in search mean a profile's details have been verified?

Accepted Answer

No. Everyone confirms their email address, and donors and surrogates complete their profile and save privacy settings before appearing in search. This does not confirm a person's identity or the accuracy of every profile detail. The Ovomama team separately approves agencies. If you have questions about a profile, ask the person before making arrangements.

No, information about profile views is confidential and is not displayed to other users.

Can I block or report a user?

Yes. Intended parents, donors, and surrogates can select “Complain” or “Block” from another user's profile or chat menu. To contact support, use the feedback form on the website.
